MY ALLSTATE HORROR STORY

Allstate Insurance Sucks

My daughter (20) was driving my car to work and was rear ended by another. The girl in the back car was given a ticket for her wrong doing, she admitted to speeding, reckless driving and responsibility for the accident, which corresponds with the witness on scene.

The car was evaluated and weeks later called to say take the car in for repairs, done so. The Repair shop called to say it was done, I went to pick it up and the trunk was not flush with the rest of the car therefore I made my statement and the repair shop stated it would be taken care of today. I said call me when it was done.

The next week I get a call saying that the car is done but I need to pay cash to get it out.  I argued with the repair shop and Called Allstate the adjuster is never in so I left message with her and her supervisor for 3 days. Only to hear they have not called the witness (after 8 weeks) and that I should have not taken my car to the shop. I argued and said why did you tell me to take it then? That she had lost the police report and will need another. And has no luck reaching the witness’s. I called the witness and got their information as far as any contact information for her then faxed it to her. Called her the next morning to verify that she has received the information she says yes and will get to it in due time. So after 2 months of haggling with the company my car is still in the shop. And she is called everyday for an update only to be told she has other customers to take care of.

Still in limbo... Now it is time to call the lawyer and tell him to go ahead with our discussion at hand.

Our Only Hope

Allstate Insurance Sucks"There is no incentive for insurance companies to do what is right, such as live up to the promises made in their policies. Tort reformers fueled by insurance money think big business and the insurance industry need to be protected against "runaway juries." It's the other way around. Big business and the insurance industry have always been able to take care of themselves. The little people need protection from them. This country was founded on the common law right of the little guy to get into court with his hired gun to fight the oppressor, be it big government or big business. Take that away and we have nothing left. Look around. It's being whittled away, bit by bit, caps on damages here, restrictions on jury trials there. It won't end until we recognize the enemy and join together to take a stand against them. It will take the little people to do this together".
